eBay flying Airstream?

Or ... What would have happened if Wally didn't go back to Airstreams after working in aircraft plants in WWII.

Considering how prices run up right at the end, I wanted to bring this to your attention late so that you can get in on the critical bidding period.

Hey Bob,

Where are we going to mount the class 3 hitch, and what is it's towing rating?

Wow is that a nice piece of equipment. Hopefully it will go to a aero museum for others to enjoy.

If Wally had built it, one thing would be different. The canopy would be hinged behind the pilot instead of in front. That would allow it to be ripped off in the wind.

Wow! $131,700 was the winning bid. One of the comments looks like it'll go to a museum. I could just see one of these in the back of a custom modded tri-axle...

That caught my eye a few days ago....was at about $48,000 then.

That is the only one to survive as it was not put into testing. It's predecessors did not make it... as the owner stated ALL the flight tests were crash failures and didn't get over 10 ft.

Looks like something out of The Jestons. Hope I get to see one of these while I'm still alive..better yet fly one!
