That is really nice guy. If I had a place to keep him, I'd try to buy him. Does anyone know if the Model A tial lights are orginal fare on the '48 Airstream?

Yes, it is a very nice restoration. But this one will go for megabucks (i.e., museum inquiries welcome). A friend of mine just put a $7K bid in and the reserve wasn't met yet.

I would guesstimate the reserve at somewhere between $18K - 25K.

Besides the quality of the restoration, the "rare" factor will probably place the reserve at the higher end of that range, if not higher.
