Of course - we have a weather system that came in and covered us in clouds. We won't be seeing it here.

NASA says it is on the 20th. So if you have cloud cover, you can hope for clear skies tomorrow night!

That is really weird. The local paper said it was tonight around 7:45 pm CST. The Web site I posted (NASA, from a Google search, and I didn't even look at the date since the paper said it was tonight) has the 20th on the top image, but then it says the 21st in the table farther down the page! A Google search gives me the 19th, 20th and 21st!
So there will be an eclipse sometime this week...
Susan

Drat. One of the few clear nights we've had lately is tonight and tomorrow it's supposed to rain - oh well, guess we'll just have to "feel" it instead of see it.

Sometimes Space.com and NASA.gov will show things like this live on the internet. Check in tomorrow to see what's up (er, so to speak).

I stayed up late last night watching the eclipses. I didn't know they were so colorful.
When I first saw it, it was as red as a tomato. Then it turned green! A little while later it turned yellow for a short time. Then it was red again.
I watched it utter fascination as the eclipses kept repeating until I fell sound asleep.
I don't know how long it went on.
