Maybe you could get a Airstreamsfourms member that lives in the area to take a look and inspect the unit before you buy it. You could give the dealer a refundable deposit so the AS won't get taken by somebody else while your working on the deal and get the eyeball info on the Airstream from one of our menbers, whether to buy it or not.
A dealer is a dealer is a dealer and you just never can tell what may be going on in the backround. Just a thought.
