We do live in a pretty nice part of Canada eh? I had to through the eh in for effect and to confirm our Canadian-ness. Beautiful pictures. Got any shaped like a heart for the photo contest?

Was the groundhog right?
If the crocus are up in Canada, then there is hope! This winter has been too much of a deep freeze for my southern bones, even here in Tennessee.

Thanks Cameron, makes me feel like spring is just around the corner. Even tho it will still be another 5 to 6 weeks for us here. We usually see the Dafodills first, must be the altitude? This could be the start of a great thread for spring flowers...thanks again..

Hope springs eternal! Your photos made me smile, really big, this morning, though it's +3 degrees with a windshill of -14 outside. My bulbs were up several inches around Christmas time, oops! Now they are shriveled brown stumps. Oh well, they'll spring back like the Phoenix next week when we hit 50's again. Thanks for the cheery blossoms ~G

We've got a few weeks (maybe months at this rate) before our CROCI come up - some are even SNOW CROCI, but the won't get tall enough to poke their heads through 2 feet of snow. I fear that those in Oswego NY won't come up until JULY!!!
Thanks for the pictures!!!

Paula, that's gorgeous! Our camelias are just barely peeking out now, but nothing like yours.
I just went for a walk and saw a bunch of crocus blooms on a porch roof. I'll try to remember my camera when I walk by there next week. I could only stand in the middle of the street and stare. I love Spring!

Hi Mel, the camelias do do well here for a short time between Jan- to about March..I've been into photography and am 'focusing' on floral, landscapes and pets..flowers tend to 'stay still' better sometimes!

Oh, beautiful! I have a camelia in my yard. I had to transplant it last fall, so I'm curious to see if I will get any flowers this year.

Hi, this particular plant has been growing since we planted it in -'75, still living well, having gone through rains, frosts, winds here, pretty hardy..we have a pale pink one too..we've been to the Butchart's gardens in Victoria...sooo beautiful!!!
