Cover for Argosy

I am looking for some feedback on covering our little Argosy this winter. We are just getting it painted and it is mostly for cover from the sun but also from the rain. Unfortunately the City won't let me put up a metal awning for it at this time...working on that.

But for right now I was thinking about just a cover.

I wouldn't cover it. The wind blowing the cover will make hazy spots on your shiny new paint job.

I have a car I have been covering outside for about 6 years. I always put it on the car when clean. The wind buffeting action has dulled the high spots in places.

Damn government. It's no different than a extra garage with no walls.
I agree with CRH, unless you're going to get a custom cover made out of that super soft car cover stuff, mucho dinero.
Just wait for a couple months for the new paint to completely cure and harden, then give it a good coat or 2 of a good wax.
Assuming you're getting it painted with automotive paint, sun and rain shouldn't bother it much for quite a few years as long as you keep it clean and wax it 1-2 times a year.
Got to ask, had a buddy spray his beater car with a Wagner sprayer and off the shelf paint, actually looked pretty good.
