Hi, over a year ago or longer, I decided to grow a pony tail. Approaching 70 years old with a natural reddish brown hair, I thought I would do this before my hair fell out or turned grey, like the rest of my family. I know some times people gave me a weird look, but with long hair or short hair, I'm still the same person. After my hair started getting pretty long, I did some searches, and decided to grow my pony tail long enough to donate for a good cause. My plan was to have it cut off on my 70th birthday. I got antsy and had my wife cut it off about one week early. I donated it to Children With Hair Loss along with along with some money to help. I hope my donation helps someone in need.

According to my wife who is able to see the back and top of my head more easily than can I, this is a donation that I am unable to make.

I started my ponytail three years ago for the same reason. I was surprised when it measured out to 16 inches! I hope you don't have the same outcome I did. Within months the grey sprouted and is now taking over.
