Changes in Attitude Changes in Latitude

We have decided to make a major change in life and put our house on the market and we close in October (fingers crossed). We have decided it will much easier to travel the country from Texas than from southern Florida. Texas Airstream Harbor is our future home and very excited about the change. We look forward to the spirit of friendship and community the TAHI has to offer. As you can see from the photos this will be a very big change. I will not miss the $7,300 a year in property taxes and insurance. That’s travel money!

We are considering a move after retirement, but I don't think Texas is on the list. It should be exciting though!

My wife's family is in Texas and her kids are in Kansas. Anytime we travel with our Airstream and heading west it takes three days just to get out of Florida. We also look forward to a little more seasonal change that the Sam Rayburn Reservoir located in east Texas offers.

We moved from South Florida (Redlands) to North Florida (Amelia Island) a few years ago, and it is now much easier and quicker to begin a road trip and, frankly, to enjoy our lives. Joe

All good reasons for the move. We are looking forward to a trip west, maybe sometime next year. We still have a lot of FL state parks that we want to visit, so stopping along the way doesn't matter to us at this point. That might change later. It looks like you're downsizing quite a bit. Does that pose a challenge?

Also purchasing the vacant lot next to the cabana and building another somewhat larger. The existing one will become a guest house for family visits.
