Can't sleep

I got a cortisone shot in my foot yesterday and I can't sleep. That stuff makes me wired. I probably won't feel that way in the morning before work. I expect the foot will be hurting when all the Novocain wears off. No pain no gain.

I get the same way. My MIL used to like taking cortisone - said it gave her more energy but it just makes me feel crazy! Hope the shot helps. I've had them in the past and if they get it in the right spot ( you know it's the right spot based on the amount of pain when the medicine is injected) they really help. Good luck!

It is just an overuse injury. Nothing major. Sometimes the stuff helps and sometimes not. It is not something you want to do very often. It is a hail Mary sorta thing.

I got that same shot for tennis elbow. It worked for me. Problem solved. No ill effects from the shot either. Guess it affect folks differently.

I think they put more juice in you for a foot thing. If you stop doing what injured it, then it will usually fix the problem. I had too much arch support and was putting a lot of weight on the outside of my foot. It was not happy about that.
