Building a Boeing 777

Here is a link to an awesome video about the design and build of a Boing 777
it is sped up and goes really fast. Doesn't take long to watch.

Thanks! Can you get your head around a somewhat different video? With a dreamier tune?

Imagine there's flush rivets
It's easy if you try
No steel below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Camping for today...

Imagine it's all monocoque
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to rust or leak for
And no corrosion too
Imagine all the millionaires
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the Forum will be as one

Imagine 3,000 pounds
I wonder if you can
No need for diesel or half-tons
A Jackson Center dream
Imagine all the Airstreamers
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
Adventurers will live as one

When I lived in the seattle area we had a friend who worked at Boeing.. His job was to teach the people who bought the planes how to fly them..

He took us out to the simulators to fly them.... The 777 was the coolest. The whole thing moves so you can actually get air sick. The interesting thing I found was if you have flown anything flying one of these isn't that much different. It is all pretty much done with the computer. My friend said they could talk anyone down in one of these if they have any flying experience.

So next time you take out the high jackers just jump in the pilot seat

Oh... Bob... OUCH! PUHLEEEZE! That sound you hear is NOT the sound of aircraft turbines spinning... it's poor John Lennon! I'm sure you'll be hearing from Yoko's attorneys shortly...

Rats, that must be a microsoft do dad....my Mac gives me code only.
We were coming back into the states through Idaho one time; the border
guy looked Bess over and said, "I did not know Boeing made motorhomes".

Having just flown a 777 from Dulles to Frankfurt, I can tell you, the video doesn't begin to show how REALLY HUGE this plane is.
Standing in the middle, it felt like it was the length of a football field to the front and the length of another football field to the tail.
