Books about Airstream

When we got our Caravel we received a book at the same time, "Airstream, the History Of the Land Yacht,", by Bryan Burkhart and David Hunt. Later on I picked up "Airstream Living" by Bruce Littlefield and Simon Brown. Both are great illustrations.

So I searched for a thread about Airstream themed books but did not find it. Hope this is not a duplicate thread, if so please refer me to the original thread.

Please recommend any other books related to Airstream -- fictions, bio, or even pop-ups for my kids? I have a feeling Santa is browsing the isles at a local bookstore for us, and you maybe

Thanks!

Ricky

p.s. I always wonder if the authors of the airstream themed books are here on the forums. It'd be fun to follow their postings every now and then to get a whiff of what they're cooking next.

Amazon...

Try searching Amazon for Byam and Travel or trailer...

There is a book (out of print) by Wally Byam in 1960's called "Trailer Travel Here and Abroad" which describes his adventures and Airstream caravans... Sold as used only, and pricey...

There are several others listed as well, which mention or feature Airstreams..

Cool thanks!

Amazon.com does not have your answer plus feedback on the read itself. You and other experienced 'Streamers are here, that much I know.

The VAC website has a pretty good listing of the Airstream books out there...including obsolete ones to keep an eye out for.

The current "official" history of the Airstream company is "Wanderlust-Airstream at 75". I say "official" because I received a copy from Airstream, Inc. when I bought my new Airstream earlier this year. It is a little pricey, but it is a good read and a nice coffee table book.

Here is a link to the Airstream store: Airstream :: Store

Thanks Shari and Minnie's Mate!

To whomever that has more to add, thank you too.
