Goin camping,

Now you have done it!!!!!

I would hate to be in your shoes when the wife asks "what did you get me for my birthday?" And when she hints around that she really like "rocks", she is not talking about a trip to the mountains.

Looking forward to meeting you on the road in your AS.

Just think, if you had been very, very, good... you might have got a bigger one!
BTW it looks great. If your house is like mine you likely will be getting a bill any day now, for your Birthday Present!
So the question that begs to be asked... What are you going to tow your new baby with?

Part of choosing a wife wisely is commonality of toys. My wife has in the past requested a trap gun and a Harley. Now those are presents a guy doesnt mind giving!

Now it's true I'll get the bill for the monthly payments. But she did make the %25 down. So all is good and the AS is duct taped to the back of my F-150 4x4 and I am one happy birthday boy! Picked it up Saturday and camped in it Saturday night and Sunday.

Happy Birthday

That is a really nice B'day present. It is truly great when you and your wife enjoy the same stuff. Have fun in that new AS.

Are you using the 8000# tow capacity duct tape. Good! Duck tape tends to pull out at the tail feathers ....

I can totally identify with the passion for an LS SE (owning one myself!). I love it -- but as much as we like pictures of your new present on the forums I would really prefer none of the BVDs! What is that anyway?? Don't answer that if beyond the pale...

No this was not a milemarker birthday. Just another tick on my odometer.

We got the AS at Sky River RV in Paso Robles. I would definately go there again.

HHP, I just noticed you are in Yucca Valley. The family has had cabins there since he '50's. We also use it as a jump off place for desert boondocking. Lots of really great wilderness to enjoy out there. Do you boondock too?

bvd edition

Thank you 2Air. I have thought of removing all stickers except the for and aft AIRSTREAM stickers and the American flag in front of thor. I will be waiting for my bvd edition stickers. Yep, I am a tad warped.
