Best Place for Decals

My wife has been collecting decals from places we’ve traveled in our Airstream. She wants to know where the best place is to put them. She was thinking about the bathroom door on our 2016 Flying Cloud 27’ FB. I would like to be able to remove them when it is time to sell or trade, and not have to buy a new door. Do you think the inside of the front door would be a good place? We don’t want to put them on the windows, not good for the view.
Any other ideas??

You could apply something like Con-Tact Stainless Steel Shelf Liner to the bathroom door (or any where else) and apply the decals to that. It is re-positionable and might be reapplied in a new location in the future.

In a scrap book, IMO.
So you can keep them when you move on to your next ….?
Things I attached to my prior trailers are gone forever, my memories getting less vivid. I need reminders.

ps:
maybe a small bulletin board?

We put a thin metal sheet in front of our refrigerator panel where we put magnets that we’ve picked up on our travels. Easy to remove to sell and then you have then for a trailer you might buy in the future.

Get a sheet of aluminum big enough to fit your decals and stick them on that. That's what I did with our US map/states that we've camped in. A screw in each corner and it can be moved anywhere.

My wife uses Command Strips picture hanging strips. These are cloth patches, but if you put your decal on some sort of backing you would be able to use the strips too. No damage to cabinets, or aluminum.

I think inside the entrance door is the most popular spot. That part is vinyl and hidden much of the time..

For what it’s worth.... I riveted a piece of HVAC metal too the inner door skin (plastic) of our Airstream, so that I would have a magnetic surface. I either apply magnets OR apply stickers to “ air vent magnet covers” ( a cheap source of flexible, thin magnet material you can get from Lowe’s or Home Depot) ..... All this allows me to add/remove/ or move the “traveling memory”Click image for larger version

I put mine on my icy tech ice chest. Had a hell of a time removing the previous owners stickers that were all over my trailers interior. While the added metal panels seem like a good idea, it's leaving a bunch of extra holes for the next owner who may not be a sticker affectionado.

Maybe put a few on the window so you can easily change your mind later? Otherwise, the circular file is an excellent destination.

For us, decals are similar to tattoos - we haven't found any that we love enough to attach to it for the rest of its life. OTOH, if you love them that much, stick them wherever you like.

I add mine to the front of the Propane Cover.

The older ones will peal off, over the years, and you can replace it with a new one. You will never run out of space... but more likely, run out of memory of the places you have already been.
