sorry we couldn't join you all up there for the party but some of us still have to work - "doggone mumble, mumble #%&*@#$ job" - even if only for a few more years.

Congratulations!!! As a proud graduate of Retirement 1.0 (Dianne insists I flunked instead of graduating when I went back to work..), I am now in Retirement 2.01 after 4 year "work-break" and again taking on part-time consulting projects to keep entertained.. I think the idea of loading the trailer, forwarding the mail, and heading out is the better idea... Only 1 small piece of advice: Avoid Twenty Nine Palms in January when cold front is forecast! I still recall seeing forzen hose/ice sculptures at 15 degrees F that frosty morning, and wondering why we weren't at someplace warm with a pool... Sorry we couldn't get there this weekend for party, and hope you enjoy your travels!

The party ended last Sunday, but we spent an extra day at the park because we could. I received a bunch of pictures from Ken and Linda and here are a few.

Thanks to everyone who made this such a great event. The folks at Distant drums RV Park in Camp Verde, AZ were the best. It is a wonderful park with great people. There is a shuttle to the Casino across the road and they would be very happy to take your money.
