Attention Canadians: Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the kickoff of the real Fall season, and many families in Canada will be gathering together in their homes to stuff themselves with turkey, stuffing (aptly named!), and all kinds of good food.

Well, my best wishes to you all, you and your families, and I hope you will remember to keep a few things aside to give the food banks that are in most communities now, they need our help so much starting at this time of year.

Thanks, I wouldn't have thought about it much as I generally miss T-Day down here in SC but called home today to talk to Mom.

Monday may be a holiday here too but I'll be working as usual... and have lots to be thankful for.

Thanks - kids are home for the weekend, the Airstream is gainfully employed as the "guest house", fall colours are pretty much at their peak (at least until the snow last night) and the turkey is ready to leap into the oven for tomorrrows supper - it really doesn't get much better - next to Xmas this is our favourite holiday of the year.
