Article: Don’t Look Now, But Airstream Is Streaking

I stumbled across this article online about Bob Wheeler and the Team at Airstream anticipated a downturn in business back in March of up to 70% for April but it turned out to be only 30%. Now things have turned around and sales in the last two weeks have hit record levels.

There’s photos of the new plant which looks amazing compared to the old one.

Check it out here: Don’t Look Now, But Airstream is Streaking

Now wouldn't be great if quality increased like output.
For the sake of the brand I hope so.

Interesting article. Jeff, thanks for sharing it.

Several weeks ago we drove north from FL and we stayed at two different KOA's. At the first one parked next to us was a SOB that the people had just bought the day before. It was their first trip. They said the bought it because they thought it would be a safe way of taking a family vacation. They had all kinds of technical questions and I was glad to help.

At the second KOA we had another AS parked right next to use. They were taking a family vacation to Myrtle Beach and had just bought their AS. Again for the same reason. He had many technical questions as well.

So it should be a good year for the RV industry. Who would have thought?

It's fascinating, thanks for posting. I thought the same as Bob Wheeler about future sales , sometimes it's good to be wrong.

Parks will be crowded I suspect but then I could be wrong on that one as well.

Friends of ours bought a 2020GT 27 yesterday in Chicago (where we bought our 25). I think they just had one configured the way they wanted it, and didn’t want to lose it. Hoping They get a good one.
