Anyone There ?

Happy Holidays to All,
We are packing up the Airstream and heading south. Anyone down in the Texas Valley Port Mansfield area? We are going to spend Christmas and New Years with a great bunch at R&R RV Park. Wish we could all be there.
Best Wishes to All

Ah, shucks, are you SURE you wouldn't prefer to come up here and freeze your butts off. It's really, really fun. You could help here by spending hours and hours on an open tractor in blowing snow and skin-blistering temperatures just to get the snow out of the way for RV+ski types. I'd even throw in a margarita or two or three to make you less susceptible to blood freeze!

We're Doing the Same, Except in NM

Seasons Greetings,

We, too, are packing up our AS here in Chicagoland and planning to leave tomorrow (12/21) for the Silver City, NM area. We will be in southern NM for about two weeks. Are there any other "Silver Twinkies" planning to be in the area during that time. We would welcome the opportunity to hook up.

Happy Holidays,

Jerry

Oh, boy, I wish we could leave. We're thinking pretty seriously about semi-retiring so that we can just close the park for the winters. You know, the folks we'll feel the worst about are "our" retirees, who come and stay with us for several weeks to a month or so after Xmas, but before spring break. We've grown quite attached to our little crowd and would feel terrible about locking them out!

Lynn

Lynn, Come join us in South Padre in Feb. We would love to spend time with the two of you. I would also like to know more about Port Mansfield.

Allen,
Port Mansfield is a sleepy little town with great fishing. If you like bay or off shore it produces some of the best Red Snapper catches on the coast. The Trout fishing is the Best on Laguna Madre a fantastic Lagune. Hope to see you there.

I will look up info on P. Mansfield and where to stay. Might leave early and visit there before we go to South Padrer Island.

We stay at R&R RV park it is the second park on the left. The folks that run it are really great along with the folks that stay there. If you stop in after Sunday the 23rd we will be there look us up. We plan to arrive late Sunday.
If you like wildlife you will love it there watch 8 point bucks walk outside your Airstream. Not to mention the wild Turkey and Javolina. On the way in you pass through some of Kings Ranch look for the Nilguy they look like something from Africa huge gray with 2 horns. Looking forward to meeting you.
