Any Airstreams parked in Berkley?

We will be making a personal appearance in the Bay area this weekend.
I may start having withdrawals by Sat. am.

Driving in East Bay traffic towing a 34' trailer would not be my idea of a good time! Or even a tolerable time Chaos on the best of days...But if you've done it before, or have heard of a good route, hope you enjoy your visit enough to stay beyond Saturday morning! I do think you're going to get a lovely California welcome from the weather.
Safe driving
Janet

OOOOOoooh, I dunno. I went to high school near Beezerkely. It was tough driving there (got my 1st ticket there) even back in the late 50's. We drive to Oakland at least once a month to visit daughter and grandkids. Unless you have a place already to park, and not in the hills, I would suggest perhaps a RV place south of Oakland. I can't think of anything north unless it is above Richmond (NOT in Richmond!). A beautiful area but you will not see much of it guiding you rig there. Best Wishes

Neil and Lynn.

Definately not Richmond for safety reasons, parts of Oakland don't look much better from the little I've seen. I had to work in Richmond on an oil pipeline one afternoon, I don't care to go back.

sorry my message was confusing. Withdrawals predicted are from leaving our airstream at home. My secret agenda was to take a photo of someone else's airstream for the March photo contest. The idea of driving thru San. Fran & Berkley towing the monster will give me bad dreams. Delta & BART will be our mode for this trip.

The wonders of modern transportation!
Here we are at the UC campus & my eyes have been open for more than 20 hrs. Guess we will strike out on finding a forum member here in Berkley.
Not a problem. I will just take photos of the wedding.

have a great weekend everyone.
