An aluminum INFANT....Help. please

Has anyone ever heard of a "Hoppy"??? It's aluminum and as CUTE as HAIL !

I will probably buy one tomorrow.. it's tinier than a Bambi, I think.

I can't find any info on the brand, though.... does anyone know anything?

The one we are looking at is a 1963.

Well, I know my husband thought we were looking at a "Hoppy" when we bought our 1957 SanteFe. The level on the side said "Hoppy". That's the brand name of those RV levels.

THank you.. Juel!

It DOES say Hoppy above the level! I have no idea WHY it needs a level; it's only about a foot long!

Now I'm at a FULL loss because i don't see anything else on the outside of trailer.

Darn! Did I think of that?

NO. It may be too late today to get pics, plus it's on private property.

Hang tight...

Looks like an old Scotty or possibly a Shasta...but during the time frame it was most likely built there were a multitude of small time trailer builders. If it is in good shape and you want it....BTW they were called Canned Ham campers The key is going to be the odd shaped door window. The more I look I don't think Shasta....wrong door window for the Scotty...let us know what you find out on Monday

It's not a Shasta, but it MIGHT be a Scotty. It's VERY clean and original.

When you get the title then you'll know. Can't wait till tomorrow when you can tell us what you bought. I'd send you a picture of my 57 SanteFe, but they're too big to post on here. Wait I think I have a couple. Here's the 57.

i bet you figure it out once you get inside of it. i can't imagine there isn't a builders plate on the front street side of the unit.

another place to look would be on the A frame on the front. i has to have a vin on it somewhere.

unless of course it was home made!

Look inside the cabinets

Look in the cabinets for a builder's tag, or builder's plate. It may be on a galley cabinet door, or near the breaker (fuse) panel, maybe even on the door to the fuse panel. If you wind up with it, you can take out drawers and check under mattresses for identification.
