All I want for Christmas is...

Come on, it's late but what do you hope Santa puts under your tree for Christmas?

I Santa'ed myself yesterday at Bed, Bath and Beyond - got a new carpet runner cause my old bathmat runner keeps curling up threatening to trip me, and got a new "Simple Human" trash can for the bathroom - tiny and oval so it takes minimum space.

So what did you ask for or gift yourself with?

Paula

Santa brought Bob two new LCD's for the Sovereign, two DVD/VCR's, an electric jack, two Cable/Sat thru the wall hook-ups, a new Nikon camera and lots of Vulkem and Parbond. He seems to have left me two dents to worry about in the Sovereign; however, I am blessed to have Bob. Have a great Christmas everyone.

Santa arrived by UPS two days ago.

Four brand new shocks in a brand new box! Too big for my Christmas socks, stored in the garage, until after the equinox.

Merry Christmas!

Each Christmas I ask Santa for a little brother or sister for Gypsy, a tiny vintage Argosy or Caravel, and I believe, I really believe that one year he is going to bring us one! Maybe it will be THIS year!!! ~G

Flamingos

I happened upon a leaded glass panel with two flamingos on it. Today I found the perfect hanger for the yard outdoors when we're camped. Everything is wrapped and under the tree so at least one of us is surprised tomorrow morning.

I would be interested in how you like it and where you actually found one.

Our tree has some SMALL gifts under it this year - not like year's past. But then, we just purchased our first Airstream - a 25', 2007 International SS OB that we have yet to take delivery on. We're having some corrective measures taken and some additional work done on her so the dealer has offered to store her for us for the winter. Boy, we can't wait until the spring!!! We do stop by to visit once in awhile - and it's time to do so! It's too cold to enjoy so they are simply fleeting visits but we sit and talk about her - we dream about the spring and we're planning trips. April 1st is my retirement date and then we've warned our family and friends to watch out 'cause we're headed out! So, our MAJOR Christmas gift this year is our brand spankin new 2007, 25' Airstream. Now we can find out what all you folks have been talking about for the past six-seven months. We've been reading about all the excitement and fun of owning one, now we can see what it's really like. How long can winter last???? We're ready for spring!! See you all "down the road."

Caravel gets a Christmas present

Our '65 Caravel is getting a polish job for Christmas.... Well, I got a cyclo, a DeWalt 1/2 inch slow turning drill motor, fifteen yards of 100% cotton polishing material, three pounds of Nuvite, a nice buffing wheel and a small step ladder.

I think the polish job I got, is something like getting a new boat in kit form.
Know what I mean?

Merry Christmas everyone.

The Grinch added to my list!!!!!

The Grinch arrived at our house Saturday and added a new washer and dryer to our Christmas list!!!!! He said it would cost $500 to fix the 8 year old washer so might as well buy a new one.

He already had other stuff on the list too --- a transmission for the Excursion, a buyer for the F150, and a job for me!!!

Bah humbug!!!

While he's at it, how about a new refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, carpet, paint, furniture, house.....

Dear Santa, thank you for my family and fur babies. I am a lucky woman!!

Mary

I got a cute keychain of an Airstream from Vintage Trailer, an ornament from Hallmark of an Airstream, and a rivet shaver (I'm a little afraid to try it out--think I'll practice on some dummies first!). Am most glad about having a happy family and the knowledge of what Christmas is really about! Hope you all have a Blessed Christmas!

Peace on earth would be nice, a small diesel 4x4 to drag the 'Love Shack' to AZ for the winter is a dream too but my favorite gift is the challenge of keeping the love in our home.
Merry Christmas!
God Bless.
