Airstreams/wheelchairs

We have friends (he is in wheel chair) who have asked a few questions about our travels, and if anyone with a wheel chair uses an airstream. I have heard my parents (several years ago) talk of people travelling when one of them was using a wheel chair.

So, are there any current users out there who can fill me in on their trailering experiences with a wheel chair. I would like to think that our friends could do this.

Just from a logistics side I would think that the 30' Classic Slide Out would be about as wheel chair friendly as you get. The slide opens up the front of the trailer and the bathroom occupies the center section of the trailer with the shower stall on the curbside and the toilet and sink on the streetside. Two pocket doors close off the bathroom from the rear bedroom and the kitchen area of the trailer.
