airstreaming keeps you young

i went to my 41st high school class reunion last night. wait a second.....am i in the right room?....who are all these old f*arts?. it was kind of freaky being couped up with all these doctors, bankers, and trip and fall lawyers....."so what do you do?"......"oh, not much", i replied. "im retired, and i own an airstream"...should have seen their eyes pop, as i know they were thinkin jet...on second thought, maybe i freaked the suits out, for this airstream millionaire was wearing the most garish hawaiian shirt he could find. it just goes to show, that airstreamin keeps you young.

Party On

Loved that story Norby. "Party On" vs "Work Till You Die"

I just work hard enough to live at the manner we have become accustomed to, and I try not to become accustomed to having too much Stuff just gets in the way of actually living! Except fun stuff, like cars and Airstreams

Great Story!

We also liked hearing about "class reunions" Always seems that some are too serious...
We are already hearing "The call of the road"

Steph,

You are way ahead of most folks. Many of us don't figure this out until retirement! I know you have a ways to go.... Too much stuff means you dedicate your life to your possessions and forget about actually living! I think once the kids are gone and (naturally upon retirement...) when most of the money is gone.... we find our sanity!

You two are my heros! You just returned from camping last night and are ready to roll once again. WOW! Youthful zeal.
