Airstreaming in L.A. California/Living

I have a family member who would like to move to Los Angelas and seek a career in the entertainment business. All I have ever heard is how expensive it is to live in L.A. Is there places you can park and live in an Airstream close to that part of L.A. where the entertainment people live. This person is in their early 20's and would like to give it a try. They have already done a couple of small entertainment jobs.

I think your family member has a few misconceptions.

People in the industry do not all live in the same area.

When someone says L.A. it really means more than L.A. City. More like L.A. County and the County is huge.

The closest R.V. parks to the L.A. basin are two raggedy parks in the San Fernando Valley. Which is also the adult movie capital of the world and another in Malibu which costs depending on the season either $95 or $125 per night. Your friend would be better off getting an apartment. Depending on the area $1200 and up.

Getting into the industry is very hard but people do it. So if your family member is willing to work part time while attending acting classes and auditioning. I say they should give it a shot.

I've been in the industry and have had friends and neighbors who were in it too. You gotta love it and I didn't .But win, lose or draw if you got the bug you may as well chase it.

Yes, we have courtesy parking for you. About an hour North of Los Angeles.

Thanks for the information because I have only been to L.A. once in my life many years ago. I found it overwhelming. This person I speak of is not aware when it comes to what the difficulty of the challenge might be, but I believe you got to go after your goals. I was trying to figure out a less expensive way to live out there. Thanks for the info.
