Airstream Sighted in Rockford, Illinois!!

It's a bird! It's a plane!

Oh, it's my OWN Airstream, safely out of winter storage and one block from home!

Look at her shinin' in the sun!

It has been SUCH a Looooooong winter up hre in Northern Illinois,.. I can't wait to get off work and go home and scrub her up.. and get all those mouse doo-doos OUT of her.

I also can't wait to get to Moraine View for the Midwest Rally, and Colorado in August, and maybe the Spamboree (probably NOT) but ceratinly lots of other places!

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!

Ours basking in the sun!

Ours are out of the barn too. Already have the Cherry Blossum Rally under our belts for teh year, and many many more to come. Look at my Pageant of Bands Rally in June - I know it's homecoming and all, but it's here in beautiful central NY if you can't make it to the factory.

Post Wow! You folks already have green grass

We still have a bit of snow in the yard. Our Airstream has been at our local Airstream dealer for two weeks now, it just went in to have it's bearings repacked, brakes checked, have some work done on the entrance door and to get a NH inspection sticker. They are new and it seems to me they do not have their act together. I am not a happy camper.....

We lived in Rockford for many years. Somewhere I have a picture of our Airstream with 2 feet of snow on it sitting in our driveway in Loves Park. We moved 1000 miles south to winterize it 2 years ago. Now we use it all year long.

I know it's silly but...

what kind of taillights do you have on that 28ft CCD (or is it a safari?) I thought all the new ones had ovals in a pod, but you have flush mount round ones? Looks kinda cool!

Nice rims too!

We made our first trip almost 3 weeks ago up in Springfield Illinois. Had to run back to the storage lot last weekend to turn on the furnace to prevent the pipes from freezing, but all is well with us. I'm hoping to be out again in a couple of weeks!

It's a 2005 Safari, they are LED's and we think they look better than the ovals we had on our 2004 Bambi. Only thing is there are no back up li ghts on this model...
