Airstream-inspired underground fallout shelter. Surreal but great

Apparently people are still making underground bunkers. And this one is inspired by an Airstream! And she's hilarious in handling this unique presentation without making too much fun of the wealthy patrons. Nice design ideas too.

Replace the word "bomb" with the word "tornado" and the idea makes perfect sense.

Good point!
I've deduced this one is somewhere in the desert east of San Diego county, so no tornadoes here, but excellent point.

There are always the doomsday preppers. I could use one of those as a tornado shelter. No telling how much money they spent on this thing. They did a lot with that space.

That's a very neat concept, and has some great decorating ideas. It is interesting that it is called the "Airstream Project".

She said she wants to decorate a camper one day, so maybe that's why it's called the Airstream Project. I'd like to see them go up against Hofmann Architects.
