Ken,

You look pretty healthy. Is there a weight room and exercise circuit in one corner of the Haven?

As a Matter of Fact...

I have the perfect spot right where the photographer was standing. A nice bright, sunny 10' by 15' area. Hmmm.

As for my fit appearance, I was fifty pounds heavier and had a full head of wavy blonde hair when I started this project.

STOP STOP STOP - I can't take it anymore......

One more picture of that cool garage and I'm going outside to dig the foundation with a spoon if I have to.

I think I would just sell the house and full time inside the Airstream inside the garage.

Ughhhhhhh - I can feel the aluminum dagger being twisted in my heart, killing me slowly with bauxite - what a way to go. Just bury me in my Caravel.

Michelle - I have your card - and Tina and I are planning a trip up north this summer or early fall. Build it and they will come..... Put some hookups on the outside, you would not believe the friends you will have show up at your doorstep........

Reservations for winter 2008, early spring 09. I will not be there when most people want to come visit. Hence No CP during the summer until I retire. That should be in about 10 years.

Airstream Haven; A Gathering of Airstreams

Airstream Haven was crammed with Airstreams this week. "Lewster" aka Famous Lewster, arrived from Florida on his way to Hood River, OR. He availed himself of the courtesy parking for Charter Members of the Four Corners Unit and used the haven as rendezvous for "KenJ" and "Blu Hwy Lady" who had maintenance and installation chores for him.

Through the afternoon yesterday, I turned off the swamp cooler and let the building heat up to 88.9 F ambient.
The freezer went as high as 0.2 F and the fridge went up to about 41.2 F.

Hmmm perfect

Now you need to tell the world the story (I thinks its pretty funny) - maybe even a seperate thread - the only part of it I was concerned about was the lack of three six packs (in equal parts of the process) - thats usually part of its success....

Ken,

Bummer about selling the 'Haven', but then it's all good in the end. Glad you sold it so quickly, or I might have had time to really consider buying it and move myself and business out to ABQ!

It sure was fun while it lasted though!!

That must have really been an offer you could not refuse. I hope that he didn't get your AS and TV!
