My Q/S is,i have a chance to purchase a 77 Argosy Motorhome,i'd like to know if it will fit in a shipping container ,so it can be shipped Downunder.

Google shipping containers and you will see it won't come close to fitting.

Not a chance. Even if you took off every outside appurtenance, such as mirrors and awning, it's still too wide for a container. Your best bet is to ship it RO-RO (roll on, roll off— a vastly larger version of a ferryboat), which is the typical way to ship vehicles too big to fit in a container. Here's a link to get the ball rolling, so to speak…

It won't fit in a container but they drive on, many have been shipped to Europe. You will find many stories in the Global Streaming section of this forum.
