Boy, that '54 Pontiac wagon would remake into a neat tow vehicle!

The wagon I see is a '55 but yes, you are right, it would make one heck of a TV. I speak from experience. They are great TV's when done up properly. What's Rosies?

John- Yes, it's between Rosie's and Kingman.

Barry- With toolbox in hand I too could easily spend an enjoyable day anywhere similar to that.
"Rosie's" is a Mom-Pop style resturant, bar & gift shop. When we head out in that direction on any of our "Adventures A Day Away" Rosie's is a must stop for breakfast or lunch & lottery ticket.

Of, course I knew that . It's scary to realize that I drove with or for my buddies to see the new cars when they debut each Fall during the 50's No problem finding the dealers with the new showings in the evenings....they all 'painted' the night sky with a number of search lights. Yes, they were the days.

I just watched a 1965 Chevy commercial with the folks from Bonanza and Bewitched showing of the various cars and it occurred to me that I actually saw it when it was on TV. It made me feel really really old all of a sudden, and then I felt really really really good that I saw that commercial when it came out and have owned several of those cars since.

I know what you mean Neil about the new car roll outs. They were big events and in our small town it was really something that we all looked forward to. Papered up windows at the dealerships, special friends and family invites to see them first, then the rest of us could go in and have a look. Gosh, I miss those days when owning a car was special and you drove it with care and pride and people understood the responsibility they had to others on the roads.
