Water heater bypass valve

Guys,
Last February I replaced the water heater in my 345. At that time I also converted it over to the one valve bypass for winterization.
I have noticed that the hot water flow rate is less than my cold flow.
Has anyone else experienced this reduced flow with the bypass type of hook-up on the water heater?
Now I am thinking about redoing it and going back to the three valve set-up.

I'm not sure how a one valve bypass would work but if the valves and piping are properly sized, there should be no noticable difference in the water flow. Usually the biggest problem that folks have is leaving a valve open by accident in the spring. Instead of getting the full flow through the tank, they get luke warm water caused by the bypass being open along with the tank valve. I think most of us have done it at least once.

The bypass type deal is from Camping World. It has one valve you turn, and a one way check-valve. They sell a lot of them, so I am trying to see if anyone else is having the same problem.

I have the same problem with a new trailer. Hot water only. City or holding tank. There is severe hot water line flow restriction. I'm thinking of taking it out.

My 2012 Signature came with the same system. I did not experience any flow restrictions. I did, however, experience a sticky check valve that allowed antifreeze into the hot water heater. The system was changed to a 3 valve system last week in order to eliminate the problem. For some reason, a pressure valve, discharging overboard, was added into the hot water supply line. The valve leaks so now I have a constant drip when the system is pressurized. I must have been running out of opportunities to putter. Jim
