Water Filter Follow-Up

Doc Joe,

I stopped by Jellybean III today to drop off some items and check on her (since some folks were looking at my house). Here's a photo of the sink.

(L to R)
1) spray (L)
2) main faucet
3) non-functional hot water
4) filtered water faucet (R)

We have the Everpure system. They are $99 at Camping World. The filter is under the counter.

Fred, I appreciate your persistence in connection with my earlier posts regarding location of water filter - We eventually discovered that this 345 was not equipped with a water filter and we installed the same type of filter that you picture above in the same location under the sink - Thanks however for your continued interest in our problem - I should have advised all in a subsequent post.
On another topic, the way our door-step sytem works, if someone rapped on your door and you opened it, they will get hit in the shins or foreleg with the step as it opens when the door is opened. Is there some way that sequence can be altered so that door does not open everytime you open door of MH??
It is very disconcerting to have to jump out of the way of the step when the door is opened ??

It sounds like your step works differently than mine. Mine only retracts when the ignition is on. If the ignition is off, the step stays down. When I put the keys in and turn it, I hear it retrack.

Mine is retracted when the door is closed with key on or off, and when the door is opened, even with the key off, it extends and remains extended as long as the door is open, but when the door is closed, it retracts - there is something wrong somplace, but nothing in the book about adjustment???

Step

Ours only comes out when the key is off and stays out door opened or closed until we fire up the MH and close the door. Sounds like yours may be wired wrong.

Thanks for your comment - Agreed, it must be wired wrong
Britt has provided me with a wiring diagram which I am sure my mechanic can rationalize tomorrow and we can get it straightened out.
