To trade or not??

We have a 2016 serenity 25' RB that we are considering trading for a 2019 serenity 28' RB because of the bed orientation and the location of the dinette and TV setup. I am concerned about giving up the pull out pantry. Looks like there is more lower storage but what about kitchen storage? I am looking at brochures and floor plans since our closest dealer doesn't have a 28' on the lot. Has anyone made this switch?

Cannot answer your question, but do be aware of the 28’ tongue weight. It is one of, if not the heaviest tongue weight of any airstream made. Did not see a TV listed for you. If you have a 3/4 ton, no problem. If you are driving a 1/2 ton just be aware of this added bonus that comes with the 28’ AS. BTW your tongue will hover around 1000lbs if you are good at packing. Not trying to rain on your parade, just wanted you to know the dirty little secret of the 28’.
Good Luck!

28’ Storage

Hi,
We have a 28’ Flying Cloud and love the floor plan. Ours has rear queen. You can walk around the 3 sides so it’s easy to make the bed.
The dinette seats have storage compartments underneath. One of them is used for footwear and the other we store food and cookware.
In the Flying Cloud they have 4 Huge overhead cabinets. 2 over the dinette and 2 over the counter top.
I pull this trailer with a f150 4 door with no issues.
Hope this helps some.

Ever considered converting to twins? $4k at the factory last I heard. Less for DIY.

Remodeling dinette? Can be done.

It of course is your call. HAVE FUN whochever you choose.

I requested a bid from Air Stream Corp. I got a bid from factory this week that was $7200 for my 25’ flying cloud to change to twins and a week to do so at Ohio factory. 50 percent was labor. Ask them for quote they’re very responsive. Hope this help.

I am also interested in doing this. What’s involved in doing this? Do you trade in with Air Stream and upgrade ? Appreciate your thoughts.
