I am selling my 2014 Airstream Interstate EXT. I have it listed on RV Trader but what is the safest way to accept payment. I am a judge and former police officer and I lean toward going to purchaser's bank with them when they get cashier's check. I have heard about forged cashier's checks and I really don't want to see someone drive off in my coach only to find out that the check was forged. Suggestions?

Thanks, Kevin
I recently sold a airplane for over 60k. I had the funds wired to my bank. My banker told it was a safe to do this. As soon as the funds where posted my bank told me all was good.
Concur that bank wire is the way to go. That's what I use for all high dollar transactions. Your buyer needs to be aware that there is typically about a $25 fee for wire transfer unless he is well established at their bank.
