Plumbing problems

My wife and I are newbies both to Airstreams and the forums. We purchased our 2005 international 25' about a month ago and are on our maiden voyoge. Trip was fantastic and trailer pulled like a dream over 700 miles from home. Airstream was winterised before we left. Need help with two problems. We are hooked up to city water and have water at galley faucet and commode but no water at vanity or shower. Hot water furnace turns on but hot water lasts only 30 seconds or so. I have checked the valves off the manual and everything seems to be ok and we are getting hot and cold in galley. RV park has showers so we are not up a creek but would love to figure this out. Everything else working great. Any help would be appreciated.

The owner's manual is your friend. Just be double sure there's water inside the water heater before you fire it up. Welcome!

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

check your water heater by pass valves on the back of the water heater--they are propably still in the winterizing position.

Okay thanks. Lost internet at park and could not respond. Got hot water heater working but still no water to vanity or shower. I will check with dealer. Love the Airstream. Made it home in 40-50 mile head winds with no problems. Equalizer hitch was awsome.

No water at those two points are probably clogged screens from mineral deposits from water used previously. Put paper towel over drain in sink (safety precaution) and unscrew faucet tip to remove screen. Clean with shower cleaner or maybe light brushing. Re: shower head, unscrew head, a soak a while in mineral dissolver from hardware store. Rinse and replace and I bet you get squeeky clean again!
