Motorhome pre-buy inspection in NY

I am looking at a used AS motorhome in the Brewster, NY area and looking for someone to inspect it for me as I am in CA. What is a normal fee for this? I would be happy with a fellow AS owner to do it for me as well. Of course I would pay them the same fee. Please call me at 805-801-8444. Thx. Bob

I do not see anything related to inspection on the right side except maybe searching for previous discussions but the NRVTA is a great suggestion. I will contact them. Thank you!

NRVTA.org should have been NRVIA.org, to find qualified inspectors. You should also see a section on the right side of your screen on the homepage of AirForums.com that you can search for "Airstream Inspectors".

FYI, the 'search inspectors' tool throws up 2 members who currently own classic motorhomes and live in NY, a few others that own Interstates.

But you may find it helpful to answer Bob's question, as he is the only inspector listed that has a classic and a 'flat-front' motorhome so if you are looking at buying one of those - he's your man. If you are looking at an Interstate, maybe not!

Thank you all for your help. I have backed away from the unit in NY as we are just too busy at home right now to travel across the country and I really want something a bit larger. This one is a 26' Land Yacht and seems like a very nice rig but we want something with a slide and walk around bed. I will keep the information for when something else pops up. Thx again!
