how to replace short slider window?

I have a broken short slider window on my 1989 370 LE motor home..
I csnt figure out how to get the old window and frame out.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Which window are you talking about. The side windows have small aluminum plates about 1/2" by 1" held by 2 screws. Remove those and you can manipulate the fixed and movable windows to be removed. If it's the cockpit side windows, slide the window forward and start prying out the fuzzy "U" channel that it slides in. Keep working at it until you can remove the entire channel and that will give you enough room to remove the window. Good luck.

I like your advise better than what I got from Dan in the Airstream service dept. He said to take it out to the inside but I dont think that can be done.
I have not yet found a replacement glass. Would you have any ideas about finging one?
The part #is 372093 according to airstream parts dept.

Dan,

It is not the cocpit window it is the short slidre clossest to the entry door on the curb side.

Bkahler salvaged a 34.5 recently, he may still have some windows if they are the same size. Send him a PM.

Andy at Inland RV has all the gasket material and I believe Vintage Trailer Supply also carries it. It is not cheap but is still available.
