How Do I find Out What model is my Airstream (Pics Included)
I purchased an airstream, non titled. In Texas you can do a bonded Title with a bill of sale. But I don't know where to find out the VIN# or figure out what type it is. I have included pictures in hopes it will help me to id it.
Might be a TradeWind. Can you measure the length (bumper to tongue)? That will help narrow it down. Normally there is Serial Number/VIN plate mounted on the side near the entry door (near the Airstream nameplate).
If you zoom in on Pic 1 you can see the Serial number.
I think it is O25 DOJ 167
Most likely a 1970 Tradewind 25: 1970 Tradewind 25′
Ohio | O(I) 25 T(D) 0 J NNNN
California | O(I) 25 T(D) 0 S NNNN
(O prefix for Landyacht options, I for Int’l)
T=twin-bed layout; D=double-bed
4290(D)-4340(T)# empty weight
