HELP for 310 Airstream

Hi all,

I have purchased a 82' 310 Airstream in Germany and want to start the restauration in spring. The 310 is still running but needs a lot of maintenance to get back on track. Airstreams are very rare in Germany but I like it and for the restauration I would like to use original Airstream parts from US.

All gaskets need to be replaced. The cab sliding window at the driver side cannot be moved anymore...

My questions:
- Where is the best place to get all the gaskets from?
- Is there a manual / instruction how to replace the gaskets, especially of the sliding windows in the cab?

Your help will be highly appreciated,
Gunnar Busse

Welcome to the Forum Gunnar.

Take a look at the Classic Motorhome Sticky thread.

There is a lot of great information you can find there.

Have fun with your new project!

Window Gaskets

Good evening Gunnar, Welcome to the Airstream motorhome family. This forum has been a great resource for me as I work on my 1979 Excella. I went through this a couple of years ago after I bought mine. When I bought it I couldn't even open the driver's window to pay a toll on my way home. Here is a thread that really helped me replace my window gaskets. Not a really fun job, but the results are worth it.

Hi Ereff,
Thank you for the great link, will be of big help. I have the same issue, the side window is not moving anymore and I guess I have to follow the work instructions. Again, thanks a lot, Gunnar
