It's two weeks away, but I'm now getting the MH ready for 5 days of fun boondocking. The trip takes us to
Road Atlanta for the Petit Le Mans.
We've attended this event for the last 25 years and can hardly wait to get under way. We have a reserved RV spot but no hookups. No water, no electricity and no sewer. No problems though. We've done it in the past and am ready for it this year. We'll be parked 30 feet from the track and about 20 feet above on an asphalt surface. Great view of the track.
We have 300W of solar to keep the batteries charged. An 1800w inverter for the entertainment system and a reliable Onan Marquis 7000 to keep things cool. Fresh water tank will be full and the holding tanks empty. If needed, they do have a dump company (NIX) that can service the tanks. There are port-o-lets everywhere around the track and they even have several hot shower/bathroom facilities. We'll even have a golf cart available to tour around the track.
Just wondering if anyone else ever goes to this event. 4 days of endurance racing sports cars culminating in the 10-hour long race on Saturday. Really a great time.
