General Battery Maintenance Questions
Hello All,
We are new owners of a 2017 AI GT Twin Bed unit
Drove it up from Florida last couple days to our home in Ontario, Canada where we will stay for about 6 weeks and then head south again
(Unit is fully winterized)
We have not owned an RV for at least 15 years and then it was old, 80's American Clipper.
Needless to say I am spending hours trying to learn how this thing works - a lot of bells and whistles compared to the old units
For the next 2 weeks it will sit while we quarantine and then will use for short trips around town
My biggest concern is keeping the batteries up.
Currently we have it plugged into a 20 amp service with the coach heat on and set to 50 F
Will this keep the coach batteries charged?
Do I worry about the furnace draining the coach batteries?
Will I need to run the vehicle engine or generator from time to time?
If yes how do I know when to to this?
Thanks for any help - and sorry in advance for what I suspect is very much a newbie question
