Doorbell Fuse?- '88 345 Classic Mh

Hey all,
In the owner's manual, it says something about a fuse in the doorbell. My doorbell doesn't work, and dang if i can even find the thing! Help!

P.S. thanks for the gouge on the halogens -- I'll explore once the rain stops!

The door bell on my '87 is under the couch, mounted on the wall, just aft of the outside access door on the street side.

I'm not sure where (or if) a fuse is located.

Be sure that the switch for the house batteries is turned on, and that the batteries are carrying a charge.

The common failure is the switch. Its a cheap replacement item. I got mine at Home depot, and it worked great for about 6-7 months then died again. Cost was only 3 or 4 bucks though and it was lighted.
