I would suggest visiting Windish RV. Go to the repair department and make friends with the people. See if you can get a repair person to take a look for you. Of course you might need to pay them some $$$ and/or some beer.
I bought my
1961 Bmabi in Idaho and needed to have it worked on prior to driving here back to Colorado. I called the local Airstream dealership and one of the mechanics was nice enough to go get her and bring her back to the shop for $20 and a 12 pack of Coors fresh from Golden! He drove 30 miles round trip to pick up the trailer!
Also contact the local WBCCI and find out if there are any Motorhome owners of the same model. They could give you a real good 3rd party opinion.
