Cool LED lights

Is it me or does anyone else dislike the led lights that they put in the interstates? They look like fluorescent lights, I feel like I'm in an office building... And there is no easy way to change them to the warm led lights that look more like incandescent bulbs.....

I don't particularly mind the bright white LEDs. Thanks to the onset of cataracts, that haven't yet progressed far enough to require surgery, the bright lights are actually beneficial for me.

But to address the issue in your case, the easy way is to cover the fixture with something known as a "warming gel" or "warming screen" that is used to adjust the color index of a camera's flash. Available at any photography supply shop, then cut to fit and glue in place.

The cool to ice cold blue LED lighting that is used in the FC series of Airstream trailers is probably the same as used in your Interstate. I agree that it is ugly and uncomfortable compared to the warm white of incandescent lighting. There is no reason that LED's must be that cold color. There are a lot of warm white ones on the market, especially if you look at the 120 volt residential units.

The ice blue may look nice at the RV shows, when displaying the metal interior of the Airstream trailers, but it is simply cold and ugly to my mind for us real world users. Airstream, wake up and warm up your interior LED lighting.

I must be wired differently. I like them a lot. I put some in my stick house too.
