I don't particularly mind the bright white LEDs. Thanks to the onset of cataracts, that haven't yet progressed far enough to require surgery, the bright lights are actually beneficial for me.
But to address the issue in your case, the easy way is to cover the fixture with something known as a "warming gel" or "warming screen" that is used to adjust the color index of a camera's flash. Available at any photography supply shop, then cut to fit and glue in place.
