People on this forum do want to help you!
In order for you to get the help you need, you have to provide appropriate information. Specific information about your vehicle would be the first thing (trailer or motor home?, class if motor home?, model of vehicle?, year?, length?, etc). Many forum members either add this information to their signature (below) or avatar (left). This is done at the blue tab in the upper left that says "User CP" (user control panel) and "Settings" then follow the instructions.
Regarding your question;
The use and function is not the same for the battery disconnect on all Airstream models. There are manual switches, (a dial that is turned or a lever that is tripped) and push button switches on some. Without knowing what you have it is impossible to give you specific advice.
Generally, the disconnect is turned to the "USE" position while the trailer is being used and "Store" when it is not used for an extended period. This is done to preserve the battery. "Store" does not disconnect certain things on certain models (propane leak detectors are always on in either switch positions) In "Store" lights, furnace, refrigerator, radio, etc are some of the things that do not receive battery power.
Do you have an Owners Manual? The answers are there. If you do not, once you post your answer and information, I will be glad to provide a web link so you can download one.
