$$Amphibious Motorhome$$

Check out the picutres on this site [URL=www.terrawind.com]. Neat, but I think I'll wait for the version that will also fly. And of course, it should be submersible, too.

Terra Wind

No thanks! Buy a MH and a boat! I bet it does neither very well. It looks like it would not be very sea worthy in rough seas. Keep all the weight down low or you'll capsize. Also, the openings for the RV stuff look like they are just above the water line. I would not want water in my furnace in/outlets. Hopefully your basement storage doesn't get soaked by a leaky compartment.

remember the Amphicar of the 60's.....a small British made sports cars you could drive into and through the water like a run about.
This is like its huge younger brother.............
Maybe it will lead to an Airstream RiverYacht...........

The Early Show

This thing was on The Early Show last week on CBS. They had footage of it driving down a boat ramp and "sailing" away. Pretty much a standard bus conversion on the inside but it had boat style throttle controls on the left dash panel.

You have to wonder why for $1.2 million it doesn't come with a SkyDeck and a Fly Bridge.

Maybe they stole this group of Cubans idea!

I live on a lake and commonly see an amphicar. Especially on the 4th of July for the fireworks. It is a blast to see him drive down the boat ramp and into the water.

The thing with this is....Y'all know the definition of a BOAT....It's a hole in the water you sink money into. Can you imagine the problems associated with this???????
