Airstreams from space

Well maybe not "from" space, more like "viewed" from space

Using google maps in the satellite view I zoomed in on my shop and was amazed at what could be seen. In the attached picture you'll see my little 20' Argosy on the top right corner of the building, the 31' Excella trailer on the right side. Then along the bottom you'll see the 345 on the lower left and the 310 just to the right of it. The blob that spans across the 345 and the 310 are some wooden planks I had set up for doing air conditioner work. Those planks were only in place for a few weeks but just at the right time for the satellite image capture.

Anyway, just thought I would share

Thats pretty cool! I took a quick peek at my property and I was a little surprised too. Saw that my driveway was all over grown and landscaping was pretty crappy. When we moved in, the old owners had take a saw to most of the landscaping so there were little stumps all over. I did some work this year to put down all new mulch (about 20 yards) along the drive and in the back but we still need new plants. Below and after photos below. This year I also plan to extend my driveway to make room for the Argosy, my boat, and my truck. What I really need is a barn!

Matt, definite improvement! Also, a lot of work

You should check out the place where your Argosy was parked all those years to see if it shows up in the satellite image.

Here it is. There is a pop up camper sitting behind it but I am pretty sure you can figure out where it is!

Wow, you were able to zoom in at least one level closer than I could. I guess I live far enough out in the boonies that Google doesn't think there is anything work looking at there

Not quite from space but our Airstream looks nice on Street View.

We were away camping on the day they did the aerial shots for our area.

Google has updated our satellite view at least twice since we've lived here. Once this spring and once back in 2009.
