Airstream height

I'm interested in buying a smaller Airstream trailer....20' or less but
since I want to be able to garage it at home vs storage, the max height
I can go is just under 8'..the new Bambis are just over 8'. How about older
models? Anyone know?

About the same. I just happend to measure mine recently. Its a 59. Its 6'7" floor to seeing add 5 inches for roof thickness and the vents. So 7ft without A/C plus 20 inches from ground to floor height.

The height has been pretty stable thought the years. With roof A/C figure 10ft to be safe especialy if the drive slops in and out of the garage. If its flat in and out then 9ft should clear A/C, about 8.5 feet no A/C and vents closed.

Airstreams are about the lowest fixed roof coaches on the market. About the only fixed roof I can thing of that will clear a standard Garage door is the T@B. Its a teardrop with just enough room to stand in. http://www.tab-rv.com/

Now older homes have 7ft doors not 8ft. I would measure yours to be absolutlly sture of the height.

I have 95" max to work with.....thanks for the info. The newer Bambi
19' are 8'6"...so close yet so far! I had hopes that vintage models would
possibly be shorter in height.....

I believe they are around 9.5 feet for a vintage Airstream, with bias ply tires.
