'95 Classic

Hello everyone, I'm new on the block...just sold our 32' Excella trailer and we're poised, nervously, to purchase a 1995 Classic MH from a dealer in FL., we live in PA. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what, in particular, we should watch out for in this model. It has about 60K miles on it, and looks to be in good condition. Are there people one can hire to go over the vehicle? Thanks.

Is that a diesel pusher or gas puller model? THe only negative I've heard on the gas units is that you have to remove the radiator to work on the engine. That may be a pain at times or increase your service cost. Other than that, I haven't heard any negative on either unit (other than cost because we all think they're cool looking and we'd like to have one!).

odillo,
Welcome to the forum! Here is a link to a post called So you want to buy a trailer three states away. It lists form members willing to perform amatuer inspections on units close to them. (We all love to kick tires!)

Obviously, get it checked out by a mechanic before purchase. Nothing special about them. P30 chassis with an FI engine (or Spartan with a Cummins engine if a pusher). Check all of the systems, make sure everything works, etc.

Good luck with your purchase. I'm more than a little envious. 360's are pretty good looking rigs.

It's a gas guzzler-I mean gas puller. Thanks for the input. We're planning to go down to see it mid-August, and hopefully drive it back to PA
