345 on a road course
Just try doing this with any other make of 24 year old motorhome!
Exiting turn 10 at Putnam Park Road Course west of Indianapolis, IN.
Really this was lunch time touring, but still a great photo op.

So, does it really help your lap times that much going over the rumble strips?
Looks like fun. Nice looking 345!

Why didn't I ride with you? Was funny listening to the radio as the corner workers where asking if a RV was allowed on the track!

Hi Rob,
I'll take you on with my 24' argosy! Just imagine doing "station wagon" runs during the driver schools with one of these. You could take an entire class!
Have a good winter and see you at the track next year!

All, It really is faster using all of the track. If it is paved, we use it.
It would be fun to have all the students in the Airstream for "station wagon" runs! Full class discussion.

very cool.
i especially like the "apex/finding the line" pics in post #10 and #11.
the apex shot in post #10 is screen saver/airstream dealer/poster material!
cheers

I just LOVE these pics!
One is now my desktop background, and I have saved all of them to my "Examples" folder that I use for reference.
Now, if only your Airstream was included on the list for PS3's Gran Turismo, I could put down some inpressive lap times on the Nürburgring Nordschleife!

That would be a scream to have the 345 as an option on the driving/racing games.
