1988 345 clasic door

My door is not set right and the gap at the bottom of the door is too much to adjust with a 2 x 4. Who or what type of person would you trust to reset your door correctly? I want to make sure I get the job done correctly the first time around.

I'm probably being dense, but what is the problem you are trying to solve? Have the hinges become loose? The the other side of the hinge bolt/nut can be accessed under the inner skin.

You are best off doing it yourself, it’s easier to bend the door with the inner skin removed which takes about an hour to do, Regards, Bob

If I take the door off I want to replace my latch because the key broke and I can not lock the door: where can I find a latch that will fit? Also want to change the henges any suggestions?

Jim, I don't think you need to remove the door to make the adjustments Bob is referring to. You need to remove the inside skin to make the door easier to adjust and tweak. If the inside skin is on it keeps the door frame ridge which makes it impossible to tweak or adjust.

As far as the latch goes, the style in your coach is no longer available nor will you be able to find parts for it. Your best bet is to remove the latch assembly, take it to a lock smith and seem if they can get the tumbler to work again.

If not then you'll have to do some cutting and hacking to get a generic replacement latch installed.

Brad
