Question 1986 AS 345 Mh

In my 345, it has the 1" wood slat blinds that have "LOOKOUTS" on the bottom with Elkhart, IN and Anahem, CA also. I am trying to find out where I can get wands, part that wand fits to and end caps for hold downs. Also, the window locks for the cab, any available for replacement? Still finding minor items to repair but having fun SO FAR!!!!! Thanks for any information that may be given.
Jim

I bought one from an Airstream dealer and found that due to a wrong size spring used inside the lock, it would not function properly. (once locked, you could not depress it far enough to unlock it)
I had to take it apart and use the spring from my old lock. I do not know if the dealer forwarded my detailed description of the problem to Airstream.
Cost was around $110.-

I get my parts from Inland RV if they dont have it then AS dont stock it any more.I just did the sliding windows passenger and driver side, I replaced the fussy channel they have the right part from AS it cost like $2.65 per linear ft. The trim on the outside is also availble except for the piece that goes in to the pillar.

Al,
If you have the old locks, take them apart and retrieve the old spring. More and likely what broke is the plastic of the locking mechanism.
The picture below shows the difference of the two springs. The shortness on the upper part of the new spring is the reason for the malfunctioning lock.
